Would you believe it?

Indeed so and, whilst not every reed organ is the precious creation which some would believe, there are some ridiculous losses taking place. Have a look at this, for instance:
- a rosewood Mustel harmonium/celesta of about 1894 in fabulous internal condition - very little wear. A friend came across it quite recently outside a country auctioneers - sitting in the rain awaiting the skip. It _had_ sold (for something like £25) but to someone who removed the handles and left the remainder!
