http://www.harmoniumnet.nl/cd-49-Harmonium-corgel.html We proudly present a new recording in the 'Luister" chapter of my website
http://www.harmoniumnet.nl Musicologist, organist, clavichordist, harmoniumplayer Gerard van Reenen published his 3-disc album.
CD01 contains 3 Sonatines by August Reinhard, and the famous Boléro de Concert opus 166 by L.J.A. Lefébure-Wely performed on a harmonium by the Paris builder Maugé.
CD02 contains the full performance of the album 12 Morceaux by J.N. Lemmens.
CD03 is the most curious one: A recording by Van Reenen, named "Corgel".
Corgel means he plays the pipe organ with his left hand and feet, and plays a Cornet at the same time. All trackes are by the Renaissance / early Baroque composer John Dowland (1562-1626)
He published other recordings of Corgel, and a special disc connected to his Master thesis, where he performs on a copy of a Schiedmayer clavichord.
