I am very sorry I don't speak French. Allow me to write in English.
Since today I am the proud owner of a real Schiedmayer Dominator :-)
The plan is to restore it in the comming years, together with a well known restorer.
To be honest, I don't know what I'm starting, it will be a lot of work!
As you can see on the picture, parts of the instrument are missing. The instrument is sold in the past including the player mechanism, but this is gone. The celesta came down one level. A formal owner tried to convert the instrument in an "organ" and removed the lower part. Pedals are missing, including construction. Also the heel levers with connection to the upper part are gone. Everything will be reconstructed.
The case on the top around the celesta is gone too. Something new has to be designed.
We will start the process on the botom and therefore I need information. Questions:
- who is the proud owner of a dominator including celesta?
- who can help me to measure all parts I need to rebuild?
